Barcelona 1 - Rubin Kazan 2 (Champions League)
Russian league leaders Rubin Kazan silenced the Nou Camp after just two minutes as Aleksandr Ryazantsev rattled off a 25-yard stunner that beat Valdes for both power and accuracy. Barca levelled sixty seconds into the second half as a delightful Xavi pass was chested down by Zlatan Ibrahimovic before the Swede fired an arrow into the far bottom corner. Against the odds Kazan retook the lead with 17 minutes on the clock as Gokdeniz Karadeniz finished expertly after running through one-on-one with the keeper.
